If you are looking for a small scale hotel with all comforts in the black river area we can highly recommend the Bay. It is excellent value/money. Beach front location with nice places to sit and relax and enjoy the sunset. Nice pool and enough poolchairs. HP food is very good, restaurant has beach front location and different menu each evening and on friday bbq on the beach, excellent wine list. Breakfast with eggs (any style) fresh fruits and juices and bread and Cereals. Beach is ok, not great for swimming as there are many stones and low water big part of the day (but the public beach 5 min walk away is). Seaview rooms are recommended and have private balconies, others have no view/balcony. Good comfortable beds, very basic bathroom, size is ok. Staff very friendly, trying hard to make your stay enjoyable, and it was!

The property was fairly clean and staff was incredibly kind and exceptionally nice. The location was magnificent and good: boutiques and supermarkets were within walking distance. On top of that, bars and restaurants were metres from the property. The food from the beach restaurant was fab. I enjoyed the trip and would definitely return here.

The location is magnificent and gorgeous, the restaurant is good and the standard room interiors have a nice design.

Compared to other hotels I staid in Mauritius, the Bay Hotel was the best value for money! Staff is really very kind and gives you a warm welcome. Half board indludes an "amuse bouche" starter and a following 3 course menu of best quality. Friday dinner is served on the beach with live music to give you an additional experience, Saturday dinner also enriched with live music.

The location is stunning, the service is great and the food was some of the best I have ever had in Mauritius.

The room I stayed in was pretty cramped, and my colleagues apparently worse. Was asked to change room on the last day as they had apparently booked that for someone else, I checked out instead.

The hotel is located right on the beach in Tamarin on the West Coast, offering stunning views of the sea. the rooms are spacious and luxurious, with good quality bed linen and amazing showers. the staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring any issues are quickly resolved. the breakfast is delicious and the restaurant offers a limited but delicious menu. There is a lovely outdoor area with a pool and live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel only offers a fixed 3-course set menu for half board guests, without any options to choose from.

The staff is really excellent at the bay hotel, make you feel right at home. Everyday fresh flowers in your room. The restaurant is really good as well with excellent views.

The taxi fares are a bit overpriced, as is the spa. But the massage was really good!

Quiet location for visiting restaurants and bars walking distance to the hotel.

This hotel has a fantastic location directly at the La Preneuse beach, in a formerly grand residence now converted into a boutique establishment. Staff provide fantastic service, and rooms on the first floor with a balcony have fantastic amenities. Breakfast includes hot beans which is a nice touch.

Modern and well-designed small scale hotel. The photos are absolutely realistic.The location in front of the beach and the outdoor seating had made any meal special. The breakfast buffet is rich and the restaurant very good. The management, the staff at the reception, bartenders and waiters are very friendly and kind, making your stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the island, right in front of the beach in a residential area. The former grand residence turned boutique establishment adds a unique charm to the property. The rooms offer stunning views of the ocean and are well-equipped with fantastic amenities, including snorkeling gear. The attention to small details is evident throughout the hotel, making the stay even more enjoyable.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

With our love for nature, we looked for a hotel directly next to the beach, and this hotel met our expectations! the scenic location on the West Coast provides access to the beach and nearby restaurants with very reasonable rates. We were impressed with the size of the room, well-equipped bathroom, and the service provided by the staff. the delicious breakfast and magnificent views made our experience even more unforgettable.

The only downside we experienced was the poor wifi connection in the room making it difficult to stay connected with our friends and family.

The room was air conditioned and extremely pleasant with a mini bar, lovely terrace, balcony, and a safe for guests' safety.

I had the most incredible sunset experience at this hotel. It was truly one of the best sunsets I've ever witnessed in my life. The hotel's location on the coast provided the perfect backdrop for this breathtaking moment. The modern and cozy design of the hotel added to the overall charm and comfort of my stay. The small garden attached to my ground floor room added a touch of tranquility to my vacation. I felt like I was in paradise.
